Models Available

Dreadnought* The Dreadnought is the most common shape that you will see on the market.  It has good rhythm and flat-picking qualities.

Jumbo* The Jumbo that I build is slightly bigger than the Dreadnought.  It is a good all-around guitar and has a big sound.

Concert/Grand Concert* The Grand Concert is the same size as the Concert with the exception that it has a deeper body.  Both are a comfortable body size that is good for finger style playing.

Auditorium* This size is great for someone who likes the size of a small body guitar that has a full body sound.  The upper bout is the size of a parlor guitar and lower bout is size of OO.

*All models are available with the option of a cutaway.

Construction McKee Guitars are custom built guitars using all solid wood, wood binding and scalloped X bracing.

The wood binding adds a natural beauty to the guitar that plastic cannot offer and makes better glue joints.  Solid wood is superior in tone compared to the laminates.  By scalloping the braces, it causes the top to vibrate more freely producing a richer tone.
